KEP is committed to creating a positive community collaboration by setting up a platform for women of all backgrounds to unite in a spirit of empowerment, inspiration, and support towards one another.
One of the most important things we can do is support women’s economic empowerment by providing training, life development workshops and raising awareness services that will benefit them throughout their life and develop the skills needed to build financial security and stability.
WHAT WE DO?
OUR ACTIVITIES
Textile
Training
We offer three days of comprehensive textile training. We apply to the programme developed by Albstadt Textile University in Germany. For our materials selection we only use organic fabrics. In addition to contributing to the development of the workshop itself, KEP has established its own product brand “Boundless”as a sustainable way to integrate workshop and income-generating activities.
Women Empowerment Workshops
These workshops aim to encourage women to gain confidence, practice self-care, and support each other’s personal or professional success. The women empowerment workshops are focused on two main components: capacity development for employability and self-growth.
Social
Cohesion
Activities
We organize such activities to provide the women with harmonization, reducing prejudice and increasing self-esteem. Our activities are: creative workshops, social circle gatherings and sport activities.
Child
Friendly Area
This area is developed to take care of the children while their mothers are participating in the activities. By means of joyful and non-formal learning activities, KEP wants to provide a holistic development for children, also seeks to improve their social skills and to encourage them to share their own ideas and decisions.
